Girdwood Nordic Ski Club Trail System
The Girdwood Nordic Ski Club maintains the valley's cross-country trail system, including the popular Moose Meadows loops and the 5K trail. The club relies on volunteers and community donations to keep the trails groomed for classic and skate skiing.
Rental Equipment & Wax Advice
Ski shops near the town center and resort offer high-quality classic and skate ski rentals. Staff can provide expert wax recommendations based on the current day's snow temperature and texture.
Nordic Trails Etiquette
Yield to downhill skiers, step out of the track when stopping, and do not walk or allow pets on groomed ski-only tracks. Keep Girdwood's trails clean by packing out all waste.
